Adsense ad unit 300×600 now has a limit
The biggest ad unit in Google adsense whose height and width is 300×600 is now set to have limit, new policy of Google is that this ad should only be displayed once per page if you are using it.
This change has been occurred due to its huge size, the bigger they are the harder they fall not that stuff here but something like that, when i reviewed this ad unit, i already gave advice to not use this ad unit in place of content , because this ad is huge and the height of 600 will only make users mad , more scrolling to do then get to the real stuff.
If you are using this ad unit in sidebars i hope two or more times per page, really its cool and i know some adsense publishers would want to use it, but if you love not to get warnings from Google consider removing the extra ad of same unit and keep only one, and do all this before before Jan-10-2012.
Google will start sending email notifications to the publishers who are affected by this update shortly.
No doubt everyone wants to earn money, thus placing the ads here and there, lot of research has proved to be effective, left side of screen have been considered to be more effective for gaining clicks.
One thing you may not be able to deny is if a user wants to click he will do the click even if you place the ads in footer area, so it does not matter you really have to place huge ads one or more time, the best use for 300×600 should be in left or right sidebar, it gets mixed up with content, does not get user mad also.
If you consider using 300*600 ad unit for WordPress in floating bar, left i would consider using this floating bar.
