Now on blogger mention Google+ users in posts
Ever felt like to discuss about someone you like or want to give credit for his/her work ? Now you can, with the new feature of Google+ mentions in Blogger, the feature will enable users to have easy integration with Google+ users and help to keep the conversation alive.
Just few days back Google integrated YouTube with Google+ for better video sharing , now integration is done with blogger, Google is really putting its power in making Google+ a useful social media with almost all of its other products.
This feature use is clear , give credit to the author of the work , have the conversation and give a new look to blogger and put more importance to Google+.
How to mention Google+ users in blogger
For mentioning any user of Google+ you have to type “+” plus sign before the Name of G+ user.You have to enter this when writing or editing post in blogger.
When you will enter + then as soon as you start to enter the alphabets like ABC, or the name of someone , that types of similar names will start to show up with the profile pics users have set for their profile.
What happens when you mention User
When you mention any word , first the users whom you are following will show above the people that you are not following.
When you have published the post, your visitors will be able to see user name with a link back to the profile of Google+ user you have mentioned.
When your visitors will hover mouse over user you have mentioned, they will also be able to add a user to his circles, as the new features also displays the add to circle tab.
They will also see the few scrap images, location of user and profile description about user, and also the link of user profile again.
The user you have mentioned he will be notified about his mention , when you share the post you can decide to share with whom and whom not, e.g. you can share it with public or any circle you like, but you cannot decide whether you would like to share it with the user you have mentioned, removing the sharing with a user you have mentioned is not possible right now, because that little cross of making a decision is not available with it.
